Taiwanese to vote on 13 Jan in crucial elections

In recent years, Taiwan experienced record number of incursions  into its air space and Chinese exercises threatening to start a conflict.

China feels it owns Taiwan and will treat Taiwan the same as people on the mainland and in Hong Kong. This translated into a loss of democratic rights and freedom the people of Taiwan has enjoyed should china seize the island. Minimally they will experience what Hong Kongers experience in recent yrs.

If the Tauwanese people show any lack of resolve to protect their rights and freedom, they are asking for the death of their freedom.

They have to give a strong mandate to the leader who can preserve what they want to preserve.

Just now watched news on HKers who fled to Taiwan after 2019 riot, after 5 years they still haven’t got their residency status in Taiwan, their applications are pending for long time, Taiwan authority says these HKers don’t have jobs in Taiwan that match their qualifications….obviously Taiwan doesn’t want them and makes it difficult for them to settle down in Taiwan. Now 50% of them want to leave Taiwan and migrate to Britain, 30% want to migrate to Canada and the rest 20% want to return to HK.

You are saying ...They are leaving taiwan because they can't get residency not because Taiwan no good.
