A 20-year-old woman is assisting police investigations following an incident where she was observed purportedly placing placards at the entrance of the Embassy of Israel in Singapore.

Screenshots circulating online depict a series of Instagram stories featuring placards conveying messages to call for an immediate ceasefire and the cessation of all trade with Israel.

Singaporeans should just stay silent on issues in other countries and trust our govt to best handle it.

There is no place to openly express opinions because opinions can be deemed as dangerous if public is exposed to it.

Remember all these don't affect you only GST  and COE affects you...just mind your own business and you will do well in sg.

Can I know your definition of democracy? If there is an election held it means it is democracy? How about reserved race for President and yes there are election held but not enough participant so the sole participant is in without any contest. Is this democracy then? In a way yes it is becuz it was held just no challengers but in another way you can think otherwise. It is same concept like GE where no challengers so walk-over is it democracy? Well yes if you follow the strict definition got election means got democracy. Whether it goes through contest is besides the point. Conclusion playing around with words and word definition is important.
