in a nutshell, its like F1. hotels, F+B,some retail report higher earnings for this period...and singapore GDP numbers look super good (remember appearance is so important to the govt), but for the majority who are not so called elites and the bosses, then we are still being sucked dry and drier ....

50000 tickets X6daysX$500 average tickets price =150Million.This money go to whom?

Fans from other countries buy tickets from their countries airlines. How can Singapore benefit?

i tell u all already..
most of the swiftie fans are young ppl... buy airplane ticket + hotel + concert ticket already broke like fudge..
plus still must buy merchardise..
they are not ppl who will go around tourism spots to play
they are the ones who fly in, watch concert and ciao...need to go back work/school

only super rich will make a holiday out of a trip to singapore....

if really got tourism benefits, u will be hearing news like
singapore zoo/gardens by the bay sibei crowded
please siam sentosa... swarmed by tourists...

if u malaysian or thai or filipino, flying into singapore
will u go around shopping in sg either?

the answer ish also no what...
clothes/shoes all those much much cheaper in their home country...
buy in singapore for what...

by the way taylor swift was already planning to do 2 or 3 shows from the beginning...
ish the other 3 that got added in...

the first 3 already auto give some benefit...
gov want to pump money into it until she do 6 shows...

the actual benefit u should be calculating gained ish the benefit from the additional 3, not the total 6...
but they will hoodwink u one rah...

the 4 indonesian pple came here by sampan
no money to buy air ticket after spending 500$ on the ticket
then sampan pan drop them off at east coast
then they walk to national stadium
go to nearby 7-11 to buy a nissan magee mee and use the hot water to cook the mee
then swat on the floor to eat
then go for the swifties show...LOL
where got 400million tourist revenue?...LOL
