Temasek reported $7 bil losses in year 2023 from a profit of $11 bil from previous year.

That means, Temasek performance from a +plus to -negative swing of $ 18 bil total in just one year.

GIC and Temasek CEOs say they have long term investments which cannot be measured yearly so, how can experiencing so wild fluctuation from +$11 bil one year to minus $ 7 bil next?

In financial institutions, get a sack.

One year profit 11 bil the next year lose 7 bil. So total is gain of 4 bil. Primary school kids also know how to count.  Laughing

Last year, Management staff got $2,000,000 profit sharing each,  will they payback or refund for this year's losses?

Some employees got average 12 months bonus last year.

If that's how Temasek works then, they can either do  year-end window dressing or hide provisions to manipulate profitability
