S'pore – seems like a serendipitous coincidence, 2 out of 3, lead actresses of Mediacorp’s upcoming blockbuster series Emerald Hill – The Little Nyonya Story are 2-S'poreans from now-defunct K-pop girl group Skarf. Singer-actresses Tasha Low & Ferlyn Wong join actress Chantalle Ng to form trio (3) for “little Nyonyasin 30-part series, a spin-off & loose sequel to Channel 8’s massive 2008 hit The Little Nyonya. The period drama, set against backdrop of wealthy Zhangs, a Peranakan family in 1950s to 1970s S,'pore, airs on Ch-8 on March 19 at 9pm. also be available on Netflix & mewatch Prime >March 10, mewatch is from March 17.

At a media conference for star-studded show on 6-Mar, Low, plays Xinniang, a kind upright street urchin, later taken in as long-lost granddaughter of Zhang clan – tells Straits Times she finds it harder as an actress than a K-pop idol. Heart Thumbs_up
