They naively think that new citizens will definitely vote for them.
Many come here just to jack up Sg property and sell them at a profit and leave.

Don't really bother, the 601 composition won't change much one. 
Maybe only the opp party need to pay more attention and worry more about the the numbers of new citizens moving into their constituency.
