Singapore reported a total of 573 new Covid-19 cases on Friday (Sept 10), of which 568 are locally transmitted cases while five are imported, the Ministry of Health (MOH) said in its daily update.

A partially vaccinated 80-year-old man died from complications due to Covid-19 infection on Friday, bringing Singapore's Covid-19 death toll to 58.

The daily number of cases has again more than doubled from one week ago, when it stood at 219 last Friday.

Of the locally transmitted cases, 127 were seniors above the age of 60, said the health ministry.

The total number of infections in Singapore stands at 70,612.

To be fair don't think the final decision to open up can be decided solely by 4g because likely to be plenty of consultations and discussions with key medical professionals prior to recommendations to our dear supreme leadership for the final ok to open up?

Already how long and how much spent to counter Covid but this is a dynamic and yet static virus with a superb built-in AI that will mutate to survive?

There are people and countries desperately sourcing vaccines but in this tiny island there is a need to persuade please come for your jab it is good for you and what else?
