Thailand PM announces quarantine-free travel for visitors from 45 countries
#1

Wef from 1st November....really aggressive.

Cannot cope with zero tourist dollars anymore. Just go ahead to open up, absorbing cash is more important than human lives.

Will there be lots of visitors to Thailand?
Lots of pent up demand for Thai massages and fun??

SG is a highly lucrative market for Thailand.
It's like a pot of precious gold and gems, not to be missed and excluded.

Truly, how many will want to take the risk to visit??

Thailand should be more conservative, and should only allow those countries with less infections to come to their shores.  It is a dangerous "game" Thailand is playing, choosing money verses lives.... crying

Those that are travelling now are mostly due to urgent businesses, employment, studies, family emergencies and unavoidable personal matters.

Only a handful will travel now for leisure.
There is an extremely high cost to do it now.

This is the chance they must  take, cos if it is business meeting, then Thailand needs to open for them.  It is said that all  the tourist spots are near extinct and therefore no tourist dollar is coming in.... Big Grin

Because SingDollar most powerful and very near by plane, and Thais know that Sg would prefer not to go MY and Indo if given the choice, maybe?

Also Kimchi and Sushi more expensive and for longer stays so maybe not suitable for turnaround quickie?

Use Sinovac and Sinopharm, already got restrictions going to Europe..

Use homegrown vaccine, the number of countries they can go will be very very limited..

I don't understand why we are still 'inviting' imported viruses to come to our shores, in this mode there are the Delta, Black Fungus and MU variants of the Covid-19 to contend with.......... crying
