An evaluation by the National Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians shows: 2.5 million people went to the doctor in Germany last year because of the side effects of the corona vaccination - and thus apparently significantly more often than with other vaccinations.

"The numbers that resulted from our analysis are very far away from the publicly announced numbers," Schöfbeck told WELT at the time.

He was severely criticized for this, and even fired without notice as a member of the Management Board. It is now clear: at least the figures that Schöfbeck used to argue are plausible – this is evident from a letter from the National Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians (KBV) from mid-June, which is available to WELT.
