The best players to have played in the S league are iranian internationals Mohammad Khakpour and Hamid Estilli. Played for geylang in the 96-97 season. They later played in the world cup and did Iran proud

The last time Thailand and Cambodia pit against each other was in 2001 S E Asian games where Thailand win by 7 - 0.

21 years later will it be the same big loss.

Thailand is coachd by Angmo. Thailand standard seems to hv drop behind Vietnam.
Cambodia is coached by 3 times World Cup Japun striker K. Honda since 2018.

I think there may be a possibility of an upset. Rolleyes

After 15' I concluded that Cambodia is a force not to be taken lightly. They are solid in defence and menacing jn breakawy counter attacks. Quite skilful overall.

Thailand 1 up (Penalty kick). Cambodia should not be trailing by a goal down. They played better than Thailand throughout the 1st half.  Their defence is like a fortress. There breakaway attacks are menacing. Hope they come back strongly in 2nd half.
