The Palestinian Islamist movement Hamas issued a statement saying that the temporary jetty built by the US military off the Gaza Strip (for the transfer of humanitarian aid ) is not an alternative to opening all land crossings under Palestinian supervision, adding that it rejects any military presence on Palestinian land.
