This article will make jhks very angry unless we acknowledge that we "stole" their hawker food, and tried to cook with limited success as they do.

We need to also acknowledge that these days it got better, closer to the REAL DEAL that's only found in Malaysia because more and more cooks especially cai png cooks are jhks.

So when someone wrote about Singapore chendol, they were very upset because gula melaka was invented and made by them wor.

When someone wrote about our laksa, and since they don't have a Katong, and so no Katong Laksa, their Minister of Food wrote a full-length Facebook post protesting, and claiming that laksa was a Malaysian invention!

What else?

Yeah, they said that yusheng or yu sang was invented by them wor!

Let's not get into otak. That one is supposed to be famous in Muar where SgBuffet came from.
