The Sultan within the Kampong Glam district is a rather majestic consequence of nine late style shophouses plus one former printing house having undergone extensive conservation works in aggregate and subsequently being repurposed as a boutique hotel.
Comprising 60 guest rooms spanning three floors and a modestly sized restaurant tucked behind its main reception, The Sultan has largely retained the original spatial integrity of the physical premises which it occupies, complete with a restoration of fine plaster and timber details constituting its facade.
