SNB provides liquidity to CS if required

The Swiss National Bank (SNB) provides the ailing Credit Suisse with liquidity if required. This was announced on Wednesday evening in a joint statement with the financial market authority Finma.

A spin-off of the Swiss entity or a merger with the larger competitor UBS are also under discussion, said the unnamed people.
