Guy was in his car suffering from mental breakdown.
He had some tools like knives, hammer which he offer to throw out of the window. Police told him NO.

Police would bark orders to him to get out of the car for an hour. Considering man was mentally ill and suffering from paranoia he refuse.

Police forcibly broke the window and tried to and tried to grab him. Man reach for his knife holding it in his hand. Officer shoots him through front window killing him.

How come Police cannot just wait and went to grab him?
He already said he had knife and appear mentally ill...why cannot step back when he held his knife. Its not like the knife will fly from his hand and pierce policeman when he was seated in the car.

Guy is white.

I don't think problem with American police is race related.
Looking across cases they appear to hire unintelligent people who are also aggressive and impulsive. It could be people who are well intelligent and well balance have other job options and do not want to join the police as it can be a dangerous profession.
