The US ban on the import of oil and other energy products from Russia, announced on Tuesday by President Joe Biden, will not apply to uranium imports. According to the Reuters agency, the American energy industry relies on Russia, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, which are its allies, for about half of the uranium powering nuclear power plants.
