Not surprised, their former president ended martial law so naoadays commit treason in taiwan the punishment ish only as light as corruption charges nia, and corruption charges ish not really heavy in taiwan too, that why so many of their politicians got corruption there.

There was a time when the country asked ordinary men to do extraordinary things.

But now, they'll only do it for money.

Majority of these high ranking military personnel are descendants of mainlanders whose parents came to Taiwan with the KMT government after losing the Civil War….they are the KMT supporters and against Taiwan independence…like that Taiwan will definitely lose the war against China, how to win?

The news also says Taiwan is short of pilots, even though they bought F-16 fighters, they are currently short of 100 pilots…it takes at least 5 years to train a pilot and many old pilots are about to retire.

Another funny thing is there are less soldiers than officers, currently in Taiwan’s armed force 2/3 are officers and 1/3 are soldiers, everyone wants to be officer, they are short of soldiers.
