Strength exercises are very important. Too many old folks cannot walk normally because of a lack of strength. Don't have to do them fast or lift a lot of weight. Do them slowly.

Don't even have to do pullups. Just do what one can. These exercises are to "slow the deterioration".

So besides cardiac exercises, strength is a must. Flexibility exercises if have time, do some too.
