now is from 2 weeks to one month. Those couple have the luxury to hire maid or nanny take care their babies using this leave really accompany their babies ? take care? Obviously will not since is their maid or nanny take care. More likely both go shopping or even a short holiday trip within one month.

I know of a friend who takes eldercare leave to play golf because his parents are still mobile in their early 70s.  At least, he did not make them be his caddies. LOL!

U can also get marrieded and born a baby and claim. Nobody is stopping you mah...

I not surprise this is why I say this , I also know one civil servant take child care leave but end up go outside happy chill around.

U can also get marrieded and born a baby and claim. Nobody is stopping you mah...

OF course like I mention, those have the luxury hire maid or nanny obviously use these leaves to chill themselves outside than look after their baby. As their maid or nanny is taking care of their baby.

Look at it this way.

The Parental leaves (whether they really use the time to be with their kids or not) is a REWARD to parents for borning babies.

And it's to encourage childless couples to born baby, because got alot of free leaves. + The baby bonus $

So those without babies can only LLST  If u want the free perks, u can also get married and born a baby,
and also hire ur own maid
