my dry mode used the compress or fan just like air con
but in dry mode the compress is switch off if the temp is below 25 degree C
aircon dont if you set the temp to 24 degree C and below

Dry mode is use when outside is cold weather...it doesnt work in singapore...will make your aircon spoil fast fast.

Dry mode does not save energy. What it does is to slow down your fan so that the air conditioner will work to remove more air moisture at a faster rate because the air lingers longer in the cooling fins. It does not really save energy unless one is prepared to increase the room temperature now that the room is less humid and the human body moisture will evaporate faster, thus providing a more comfortable environment at higher room temperatures. The dry mode combination works very well with bed coolers where one could sleep well in a less humid environment of higher temperature and a much cooler bed.
