Banks can come under cyber attacks too, not only individual like us who get scammed if we are not careful.
If the banks' security system is brought down, a lot of money can be lost. With IT and AI, it would be the modern equivalent of breaking open an ATM machine, and stealing all the cash inside.
Anyway, we don't know what happened. By right computer software are supposed to be Yes Sir programs. They work according to the programmers' coding, but if they say No Sir, then something must have gone wrong. Did somebody inject a scam virus into it?

Very bad for DBS. Their IT DRP failed, their BCP and BCM failed. Equinix doesn't look too good either.

You go to any branch around lunch time, there is no more queue number!
CECA bosses dun know the history of POSB!
Many old people prefer to go to the counter for various banking services.
Besides, online banking is full of scams!
