No wonder Biden wants to defend Taiwan at all cost.
It's virtually part of America.

All the candidates visited the U.S. and Japan, interviewed by Uncle Sam before starting the campaign.

Actually based on my following, the two VP candidates from DPP and TPP held US citizenships and in fact TPP candidates is suspected to hold British citizenship too.

But all these were debunked by their authority who claimed that all candidates does not have citizenship issues. Because by their constitution law, all candidates who apply for their legislator’s position or Presidency. They must be of Taiwan nationality, and they must not have at any point in time reinstated their citizenship or dual citizenships.

Past few days KMT legislators have found both DPP and TPP candidates to have such problems but was confirmed by their Taiwan authority that this “was not” the case.

Had the citizenship on both DPP and TPP candidates were an issues both party will disqualified for the elections which due on Jan 13.

Anyway judging by the current situation DPP will likely to win, while TPP presidential candidate who admitted that he is actually of pan green two days ago. KMT has slim chance to win this round again because many people hated them.
