You wish America collapse but China does not.

If someone owes you $500K, you won't want him dead.

That is the way to ease trade surpluses and therefore,  trade tension.  Japan has over 6,000 companies in the US and their trade surplus for the last 6 months was USD 26 billion.  China has only a handful of companies in the US and their trade surplus for the same period was USD 99 billion. Trade tension between the US and China can only get worse if Chinese companies shun in the US

aiptasia is now in my ignored list.

Of course. .

Imagine your colleague or next door neighbour still owes you $1690, and one fine day, he mati.

The US owes China trillions of dollars because it's a net importer of Chinese goods.

PS: Let's be clear. Chinese goods refer to products made by the Chinese or Chinese companies.  It does not refer to goods made by Han Singaporeans who somehow go around screaming I am Chinese! I am a Chinese!!!  Rolleyes

I kid you not.

While I don't have the macro economic data across all sectors of industry, it has not escaped my notice that mainland Chinese are now deliberately buying Huawei handsets even though they used to be iPhone supporter.

If you have ever had an argument with iPhone users, you'd know how stupid and stubborn they can be. They sing praises of their beloved iPhone and refuse to listen if you tell them that they have been way overcharged, and Vivo is just as good and it costs $500 nia.

So for someone to ditch iPhone and switch to Huawei, that's like a Chinese giving up his life for love of Mao.  Rolleyes

The next presidential contender will say “300% tariffs” on imported Chinese EVs and the process will repeat. The Assmerica people likes to hear such rhetorics and the presidential candidates will oblige. See who is more popular, not who is more capable.

See ... trumpet is a biz man ....instead of tariffs ... he ask China EV company to open factory in US ...its a win win compared to just tariffs

EV companies will be keen to open factory there, so they can sell & make money
while having a EV factories in assmercunt .... it creates job for them
