Heard criminals including those who are involved tax evasion in Taiwan will not be charged after 10 years. Recently there is a case of a teacher in Taiwan who took advantage of his female students 20 years ago, now he can’t be sued and charged anymore.

This guy is an opportunist, when he was doing business in China, he supported China’s unification of Taiwan. When he got into trouble in Taiwan he fled to Spore and took Spore citizenship. Now he gave up Spore citizenship & resumes his ROC citizenship and donates 200 million to Taiwan military likely to run for presidential election in Taiwan.
