During the 80s A$ was very strong .
Never expect S$1 to A1.20 today.

Impossible as the basket of 5 currencies that form the value for Singapore dollar is US dollars and I heard it is a high proportion of the 5 currencies.

So if US dollar sink in value, proportionally Sg dollar also will drop in value. So change is very little
