The US will likely begin recommending an annual Covid-19 vaccine that can be given alongside the seasonal flu shot, the White House announced, days before the new generation of vaccines to stem the pandemic begins.

Americans will be able to get the new vaccines for the Omicron variant in the fall or winter, Reuters reports. For most citizens "that means a Covid-19 vaccine, once a year, every fall," said President Joe Biden.
