China locks down Lanzhou city which has 39 cases in current outbreak
#1

China placed a city of four million people under lockdown yesterday, ordering them not to leave home except in emergencies, in a bid to eradicate a Covid-19 cluster of just a few dozen confirmed cases.

Yesterday's fresh restrictions came as China reported 29 new domestic infections - including six in Lanzhou, the capital of Gansu province in the country's north-west.

The latest outbreak has been linked to the highly contagious Delta variant, with the tally hitting 198 cases since Oct 17.

Thirty-nine have been in Lanzhou.

Man's ego determined his fall. Had only all countries just do a lock down for a month or two, the spread will not have occurred or could have been arrested.

According to Chinese news,
lock down applied to small districts not the whole Lanzhou city,
they aim to have test results out by 6 hours.

It can work if the entire world all agree and work together. But because everyone still competing even for vaccine development or witch hunting etc. It never even stood a chance.

Base on your logic Pfizer and Moderna TOTALLY not effective - because Singapore a city of about 6 millions has 5000+ cases! Take a look at those countries that use P & M! So how!? This type of narrative reminded me of the 4G leaders daily briefing and Channelnewsasia reporting!

The first few batches of vaccines are Pfizer and Moderna, so how will they feel after being vaccinated with these vaccines....? One consolation though, PM Lee is vaccinated with Pfizer vaccine..... Rolleyes
