JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Welcoming Christmas and New Year (Nataru), the government plans to ban celebrations that can cause large crowds of people. This is an effort to anticipate the increase in Covid-19 cases during Christmas and New Year's momentum. "On this occasion, in the midst of the increasing number of cases in Europe and several other countries that continue to be high, I again invite all of us not to be selfish and encourage each other so that we can both obey the health protocols that are constantly being advised so that we don't repeat the same. Bad experiences in the past were due to our negligence," said Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan in a press release, Monday (11/15/2021).
"What we have fought for together so far deserves to be maintained and not forgotten just because of boredom and selfishness of all of us," he added.
