China has mastered the solvent extraction process, which is a complex and environmentally challenging method of separating rare earths from ore.

Good lor, China can continue to dig soil and sell soil.
This is the best China can do.
One must Never stop doing what he is best at doing.

Meanwhile.... Western countries concentrate creating most advanced computer Chips and Softwares, where the PROFIT MARGINS and REVENUES when compared to Rare Earth profits & revenues is 99% : 1%

The primary mineral used in making computer chips is silicon, a semiconductor. Other minerals like gallium, germanium, and those used in the doping process (e.g., boron, phosphorus) are also essential.

Without antimony, gallium and germanium, semiconductor production will be badly affected, factories will be closed down and workers will be jobless.

rare earth is not rare lah..............Russia probably has largest deposit....................followed by Canada or America.................America has EVERYTHING - no need to import any natural resources unless cheaper to do so............

The important point here is Y Vietnam rare earth deposit dropped from World’s 2nd largest to the 6 largest? Where did the rare earth went? Understandably, Vietnam is punishing the illegal miners and making Vietnam losing the valuable deposits.
