As many countries start to dispose old vaccines due to demand lower than supply,
WHO still yet to approve a number of applications.
Quite a number of vaccines from Russia, Cuba, Iran, Turkey, France etc do not seek WHO endorsement
and make their on launch etc

Is the WHO Chief suggesting over 1 million COVID deaths within 2 years is "sustainable" for a country ...
...The U.S. on Wednesday 5 May 2022 surpassed 1 million Covid-19 deaths, according to data compiled by NBC News — a once unthinkable scale of loss even for the country with the world's highest recorded toll from the virus. The number — equivalent to the population of San Jose, California, the 10th largest city in the U.S. — was reached at stunning speed: 27 months after the country confirmed its first case of the virus.

Actually, Sinovac is one of the over a dozen COVID19 vaccines approved by WHO for emergency use and also included in SG's vaccination list.
If it is "useless", by statistics, China should have experience far more death than say India, which does not approve any China-origin vaccines.

China is more worried about the long last effect on those who were infected. WHO itself is aware of that and I am surprised they ignore this fact.
