WP's alternatives to GST increase ‘unsustainable’, will burden middle-income earners: Tan See Leng
“It will ultimately result in a system where our approach to revenue is just to squeeze anyone who does well, from the middle-income upwards,” said Manpower Minister Tan See Leng.

The rich must pay more but TSL being a $million minister is just not willing to pay more. All excuses that the rich will later include upper middle and middle income is just nonsense. At the moment, the middle income is already being squeeze too hard so what can be worse.

HUH?
Tan SL really Permanent Head Damage Or am I that stupid to misunderstand him?
"Tax the Wealthy will burden the middle- income"
Did he just also say- Tax the wealthy does not burden the low- income?
GST is so clever and can even discriminate the low and middle income
But PAP blasted on the TV everyday that GST is inclusive, leh
Now, PAP really shoot themselves on the Foot
Such farking liars twisting and shaming PM Lee to the max
Wah seh!
Why do we need 5 Mayors and 87 PAP Ministers?

PnP tactics is always the same. Oppo suggests better alternatives but PnP will knock it down for whatever reasons. Then a few years later, PnP will follow Oppo suggestions and take the suggestions as their own.
Dont believe??
Wait a few years later and you will see.

WP is refeering to the wealthy, but MP Tan defines it as "middle income upwards" is incorrect.
MP Tan SL has no idea what Opposition said and neither what is called wealthy.
I hope he is not childish and old to be arguing for the sake of arguing.

This perm head damage is just so stubborn to exclude all proposal from oppositions. He is regurgitating out all excuses that sounds even more illogical than opposition's. He is disconnected with the ground and we urgently need more oppositions to be voted in to drill them.
