also foreign passes must stop for the time being. if singaporean no job until government need to give money why still issue passes for foreigner? there must be some decency in supporting own people first.

Maybe now also a trend to be PRs? For locals quite a lot go Aust or USA etc countries.

One of my relative her hubby is a Chinese Thai PRs till now never convert to be new citizen in SG. He surely will get approve as new citizen partly wife is local here , next he hold top management job all along. He know my relative and get married is during Uni day in NUS in SG.

What I know from my parents , he never convert to new citizen because if he do. His assets back in Thailand will be so call ' no more ". He got own properties back in Thailand beside in SG , he own two condo one rent out also got own office space also rent out whereas still holding his top management job.
