As part of it, Mr Wong said, GST Voucher-U-Save rebates will be doubled for the rest of the year. This means that eligible HDB households will receive additional rebates of up to S$285.
Let say an average family of 3 may spend $400 per week ( hawker food, transport, shampoo, groceries, mobile phone, medical, . . .) where GST collected by PAP is already $1400/ year.
