We must know when to enjoy the fruits of our labour

Sound advice for SG Talkers aged 60 and above. Most of us would have set aside a substantial amount for retirement which we should spend from now onwards. We may wish to leave it for our children, but they have no idea of the sacrifices we made to earn that money. We must not keep worrying about our children and grandchildren, who will find their own way in this world. We have been supplying them with "fishes" to eat and taught them how to catch "fishes" for their meals; it is time they find their own food. The must now earn their own keep. Please share your thoughts on this.

Certainly true. Enjoy life while you can if it is affordable. It is the fruits of labour with toil and sweat, that paid off and they deserves to enjoy life with their means.

When I do donation to charities, I use their names.
To remind them to share when they've more than enough.
