If the cost of a hawker's stall rental is $1,250 per month, then they must have made a bundle..........many can buy condo and own cars  liao...........

Some of them sell at low prices if their rent is low. My area, still can get wanton noodle, bak chor mee etc at SGD3.

Dunno. But the soup has deteriorated. Last time they use anchovies to boil their soup. Now, the soup is not so tasty leow. Also less vegetables. But the other ingredients still remain. They did raise from $2.50 I think a year ago.

At $3 a bowl it is considered as cheap liao............many other places will charge $3.50 per bowl/plate..............
