WHO recommends the use of inactivated hepatitis A vaccine for children, 1st time

The World Health Organization (WHO) announced on its official website that the WHO held a meeting of the Strategic Expert Group on Immunization (SAGE) from April 4 to 7, recommending that it be used in childhood immunization programs.

Vaccination dose and age: 1 dose of live attenuated vaccine at 18 months of age, and the first dose of inactivated vaccine at ≥12 months of age, with an interval of 6 months between the two doses.
