Even if you switch off the power, there is still a vampire load, if not power companies eat grass.
Dont waste $$$ on this kind of gimmick.

Used a lot of these in my house. I always program multiple appliances, like fans, airconditioners, and bed coolers to turn them on and off using my handphone or at specific time and period to save electricity in the house. Each consumes only about 1 or 2 watts per day. I reckoned I have saved lots of energy as I always forget to turn off these devices

Actually just a timer in disgust. Like set when turn on and off automatic mah .
Standby mode don’t consume much energy , but I do always turn off the main switch of my tv end of the day. Computers just put to sleep mode, don’t consume much electricity.
My home all power bar is turn on.
