What can you do when flight turbulence happens?

If you're going on holiday (especially with young children) in the coming June holidays or just leaving on a jet plane, here's what experts CNA spoke to recommend: https://cna.asia/3QZOCoh

Usually pilots will make announcements when there are turbulences asking passengers to fasten seat belts and seatbelt sign will be on, all meal service will be suspended and stewardesses will sit down and fasten seatbelts. That is the standard SOP.

However, in the case of SQ321, there was no announcement before and during the severe turbulence, seatbelt sign was not on, stewardesses were still serving meals, as a result, some of the stewardesses were injured, we can see blood on their faces, one of them went for spinal surgery. SIA should investigate the incident asking the pilots why they failed to make announcements and turned on the seatbelt sign, why never suspected meal service, why standard SOP was violated. These pilots may be heroes as they managed to avoid a plane crash, however questions have to be asked  as part of investigation as the general public needs to know.
