no food is the main worry.
we have gone thru years of abundant and now all of a sudden like many things are in short supply.
food like wheat, oil due to the ukraine war. follow up production of food from other places will be short due to no supply of fertilizers which is due to no chemicals from ukraine or russia to make it.
problem of high cost is also partly due to over zealous plan to switch to clean energy which resulted in to investment in exploring fuel. the new clean energy does not come on over night. hope the world can come to agreement to do a less speedy switch over as we are now suffering from the non investment in so called dirty energy.
the problem is not only of those with large populations like india, china, indonesia. even singapore if we don't stock up 7 years of supply we may also face shortage as more and more zealous politician band export of selected items even if they don' need to do it, just to gain political points or as a threat to get something.
no pork long ago, now no chicken, next no fish ? no mutton? we need to be able to produce at least 1/3 or more of our own need. it is possible with technology and high raise multi story farm.

don't imagine it as not possible to happen. the poorer country like sri lankan already bad hit with no money to buy fuel. for example if singapore has no diesel you how many industry got to stop with no fuel for diesel trucks, generators, etc.
