It's an extremely boring city and very cold in winter, so not many want to live there. On average, a freehold landed is around c$700k, condo c$400k

That’s very cheap, heard in Vancouver a semi-D will cost 1.5 million

North and west vancouver hv attracted many rich ppl, like hk movie stars and huawei's mwz. New immigrants mostly settled in Richmond which is fast becoming the new chinatown. Weather and nearness to asian countries are the main reasons

Ottawa is not the same as Vancouver or Toronto lah. Cost of living there will be cheaper.
