Where to get those Western car parts? Scrap cars?
Like those thrown to the side of the roads. Sungei Kadut?
Very hard to get the replacement parts. Dimensions are different. Otherwise, it's very expensive.
Western cars signal on the left of the steering wheel.
Asian cars signal on the right of the steering wheel.

Wrong, only Japanese cars signal on right.
Chinese and Korean cars signal on left also, same as German, French, Italian and American cars. It follows their side of the road when driving.
The anomaly here is “British” cars, which are no longer owned by any British company, but are owned by Chinese, Indians and Germans. So MINI and Rover signal also on the left, despite being Right Hand Drive in the UK.

Now, I go and check again.
BWM is on the left. Korean cars are on the right. BYD is on the right. Alphard, don't be on the left or right. Drive until confused.

Maybe BYD has separate steering wheel arrangement for RHD markets? Cannot be cos the RHD market very small: Australia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Japan, UK only.
Fact is most of the world are LHD and drive on right side of road.

It is the signal hand mounted on the steering wheel. Korean cars are also on the right. When you signal, the wiper will come on. Nissan is on the right. Merc, it is on the left.

Tesla, it is on the left.
Next time, when you see people don't signal on the left or right, it might be because of a different side of the signal hand.
Most people like to shake their heads.
