All three of the bonds are being quoted at around 63 cents on the dollar, well into distressed territory.

On Friday there’s a $10 million coupon payment for one of Adani Transmission Ltd.’s dollar bonds. Its yield soared a whopping 400 basis points this week to 13.5%.

Junk bond does not mean the end of the World.  It is just how rating agency perceived the value of the bond at this juncture.  With the parent company company in trouble,  nobody would want to risk their reputation to give good rating to their subs as anything can happen.  It is up to the investors to assess the risk. The stock price jump of 8% spoke a lot about how some investors felt.
