Change of battery cost less than $100 at Sim Lim. Had changed Apple and Huawei batteries and cover before. The change is fast, unlike those service centers. Book appointment. Wait. Draw circles on iPad on damage to the phone and call you to collect later in the day. When go to collect, they say paid for a new one at a lower price.
Change at Sim Lim takes less than 1 hour. The handphones can last very long, more than 4-5 years.
Though you can still receive scam calls without sim cards.
