It is a different country, not like Spore, landed properties are slightly more expensive than apartments, why have to buy apartment for what?

My relatives asked me if the house is freehold or 99 years when they visited me years ago….what kind of question is this? All properties are freehold, 99 year lease is very rare. Obviously their view is very Sporean.

My friend took 3 years to renovate and rebuild the landed property and a few months to stay. Sold off not long ago.
