Iran strategy is to harass Israel through proxies
because it is not strong enough to win an all out war yet with  Israel.

Israel wants to escalate to a war because the s will give it a chance to defeat Uran and cause a collapse of its govt. Once the current Ayatolla cleric rule ends,  chances are the next govt wil drop aggression towards israel.

The Israeli thinking is... if there is cease fire, it just allows Iran more time to build up the military and become a bigger threat. So it is.not really interested.

The Gazans are just pawns used by both sides.

Israel is kind of stuck. It is under pressure by US to go for ceasefire because having an on going war will affect the elections. The international support is also turning against them

If they go for cease- fire, due to trade with China, Russia and N.korea, the Iranian economy can just keep going and the iranian govt survive to plot its next move against Isreal.

My conclusion there will not be any big retaliation from Iran.

Israel is waiting for next chance to escalate and will stall cease fire.
