That's right.

Both Nike and H&M went down to half price after their fake news of forced labor and genocide on Xinjiang cotton.

the real reason is china people are buying manufacturing fakes and replica of Nike and Branded US goods...because they are sought after by billion of Poor China people who cannot afford the real thing but need to wear emporer clothes to show off....its cheap and fake and china people dont care....

thus sales of Nike and other US brands had been dropping over the years...

getting worse i guess

Don't think H&M's businesses have been badly affected by the Chinese actions. More likely by global conditions such as pandemic etc. Its stock price almost similar to Macy's which is its main competitor.

This mentality has a substantial change in recent year.

In the early 2000, buying BMW 3 series was a great deal.
Now, the Chinese will tell you, you need to go for brain check? Rotfl
Using so much $$$ to buy a BMW 3 series.
You can have better options.

Give some thinking to what this wise man had once said.
