wanted to take a cab from Sentral KL to Gardens mall yesterday. it’s only a short distance.
flagged down a cab and I was quoted RM20 by the driver who did not turn on his meter. so i rejected him and went to a taxi counter trying to buy a taxi coupon instead. and I was quoted RM16.
so in the end, I took a grab ride and the fare was only RM7. and I tipped the driver and paid extra RM5.
