It is not just single S'porean women who are looking for wealthy, influential, intelligent, articulate and good looking men. Their parents (especially their mothers) insist on men who own a condo and car, or who have parents who are able to purchase these possessions for their sons.

The main reason why so many men end up divorced is that most of them are only attracted to pretty women, even if these individuals may not be compatible with them. What happens when these attractive women age or put on weight after childbirth? The husbands lose interest.

Faced with advances in technology, longer working hours, unrealistic workloads and the authoritarian style of management at most organisations here, is it any wonder that working adults are exhausted, frustrated and too stressed out to consider even dating?
