Consumers mainly purchase an article of clothing for its aesthetic appeal. Some Polo Ralph Lauren T-shirts bear an image of the American flag, but it doesn't mean that the wearer is pro-USA.

This Japan jersey can be seen worn by locals in S'pore, but no old S'porean man has confronted me while I was wearing it. Those who find it offensive are too sensitive.

The same reason, right?

It is this image which is offensive as it was used by the Imperial Japanese Army during the WW2 committing war crimes and caused massive suffering to their ancestors of which some are still alive. Seeing this image displayed in grandiose is like opening the scabs of an old wound to many people in places where brutal atrocities were committed.

It is the image of the Rising Sun with 16 ugly Rays and NOT any others.  ..  Rolleyes

He wore it out last weekend, and was confronted by a group of aggressive Muslim men at a hawker centre. Why are some people so triggered by what someone wears? It does not mean that the person supports Israel or is from the country.

But you do support the zionist state.

Anyhow, if your son wearing an Israel t-shirt was confronted by A GROUP OF AGGRESSIVE MUSLIM MEN, surely there will be some videos going around and police called in. And the police would surely make your son take off the Israel tshirt.

So please tell us more of what happened.

If I were to wear this in public, it would likely frighten many Muslims. Will any Muslim step up and offer an apology for the suffering caused to millions of Christians?

The ethnic cleansing of Palestinians pales in comparison to the violence against Armenian Christians by Muslims in the past. Mind you, it was less than 100 years ago.,.sadly many muslims tend to conveniently forget or disregard the whole incident.. Back then, international laws were disregarded and the moslems didn't stop! So, why should we be concerned about their current situation? History often comes back to haunt those involved.
