why buy million dollar resale flat when you can buy cheap BTO flat ?

unless you are a PR who cannot buy BTO.

most million dollar resale flats are bought by PRs.

A matter of supply and demand and pricing differentiate. Many might not know tt HDB strict rules about resalings and they change rules quickly. Heard tt those very old flat purchased at cheap prices earlier days r only allowed to b sold to those who wanted to downgrade from newer flats to older flat. Not 4 sale to the first time buyers.

if one has taken a first bite and not payup the fine at first close the interest is 5%plus for old timer.
to buy a second bto. later then fix amount. it stay double standard for singaporean. so much for pledge.
these has little incentive to buy a second bto.

some want better locations.
some want renovated already to save the trouble.
many believe it is a good store of wealth. enjoy the location and later can sell higher.
is there so many fools around? for as long as the economy grow and grow. pay go high and hiher.
they also call this inflation.
